Engineering Accreditation Assessments Across the UK
The Brief
For several years, Venue Choice has supported a leading Engineering Organisation with the delivery of accreditation assessments for its members across the UK.
Unlike a traditional conference or meeting, these events require a very specific venue setup to create the right environment for assessments and interviews. With events taking place in Manchester, Birmingham, Cardiff, York and Glasgow, the client needed suitable venues that could consistently meet the same detailed brief in each location.
Our Role
Venue Choice was asked to source and secure venues capable of accommodating the unique format of the assessments, while also arranging accommodation for the assessors involved.
With multiple events taking place across different UK cities, our role has been to understand the requirements of each assessment programme and identify venues that offer the right combination of location, accessibility, meeting space and accommodation.
What we delivered:
Multi-city venue finding: We have sourced suitable venues across Manchester, Birmingham, Cardiff, York and Glasgow, giving the organisation consistent support wherever their assessments are taking place.
Specialist assessment setup: Each event requires multiple private rooms to allow assessments and interviews to take place simultaneously, with layouts carefully considered around the format of the day.
Welcome and registration areas: We ensure venues can provide a suitable central welcome space where members can arrive, register and be directed to the correct assessment room.
Assessor accommodation: With assessors travelling from across the UK, we source and secure accommodation alongside the meeting space, helping make the overall experience as straightforward as possible for those delivering the assessments.
Venue coordination: From the initial search through to contracting and final arrangements, we work closely with both the client and venues to ensure the detailed room and accommodation requirements are understood ahead of each event.
The Result
By supporting the programme over multiple years and across several UK cities, Venue Choice has developed a strong understanding of the organisation's assessment format and the type of venues that work best.
From sourcing multiple private interview rooms to coordinating welcome spaces and assessor accommodation, our ongoing support allows the client to focus on delivering the accreditation process, knowing the venue logistics are taken care of.
