Ahead of IMEX Frankfurt — the biggest global trade show for the events industry — we were lucky enough to experience a pre-FAM trip hosted by ACCOR Hotels in the beautiful Swiss town of Montreux. But this wasn’t just about soaking in the views (though they were stunning!). It was about putting ourselves in our clients’ shoes, experiencing every touchpoint of a venue, and asking: Would this work for our clients?

From the welcome experience to the food and drink offering, the flow of meeting space, and the quality of service — being on the ground gave us so much insight. We stayed at the Fairmont Le Montreux Palace, a property we’d previously booked for a client incentive a decade ago. Seeing how it has evolved, yet kept its charm, gave us real confidence in recommending it again.
